Fatima Pabani

Fatima joined DoWAT in 2025 to offer support and expertise as an Autism Advisory Teacher. She has 20 years of teaching experience in both state and independent schools, across key stages 2 to 5.

Fatima can offer support for children with an ASD diagnosis, as well as for those who do not have a diagnosis but have social communication difficulties. This support includes:

· Training for parents, teachers and support staff.

· Planning/coaching with teaching and support staff.

· Support for transfer and transitions.

· Support to access the curriculum.

Additionally, Fatima is Level 7 trained and can offer access arrangements assessments and guidance, as well as SpLD (dyslexia) assessments to schools. Further SpLD provision offered includes support for students with literacy difficulties to access the curriculum, and strategies for parents to use at home to support their child.
