I’m delighted to introduce myself as the new Headteacher of St Mary’s - a school rooted in faith, joy, and a deep sense of belonging. As a former pupil and long-standing staff member, I’m proud to lead a community where every child is known, loved, and inspired to achieve. Together with our dedicated staff and supportive families, we celebrate success, nurture belief, and build a culture of kindness and excellence.
At St Mary's, we nurture each child to grow in faith, knowledge, and independence, following Mary’s example of strength and devotion. Inspired by Pope Francis’ call to serve with compassion and Pope Leo’s emphasis on justice and wisdom, we encourage our pupils through our school vision to think for themselves, take responsibility, and contribute to the world with courage and kindness.
Through a rich Curriculum and a supportive community, we empower children to develop their talents and confidence, preparing them for a future rooted in faith and integrity.

We are extremely fortunate to have beautiful school grounds where our children can further develop their love of learning through having a stimulating and varied outdoor education and Curriculum. We have a wildlife area, a growing garden, extensive grass playing fields and two large hard court areas.
Strong relationships are built between our wonderful children, who are highly motivated and well behaved, and our caring, dedicated and experienced staff.
