NBS Awarded £10,000 for Science, Technology & Faith Project
Back
We are excited to announce that NBS has been awarded £10,000 to carry out a project exploring the relationship between science, technology, and faith.
Last month, Miss Gallego, Second in Science and Head of Biology, went to St John's College (Durham) for the official awards ceremony.
To kick off this project, we launched a logo competition, inviting students to design a new logo for the event. We were overwhelmed by the response—over 40 entries were submitted, showcasing the dexterity, creativity, and artistic talent of our students.
Choosing a winner was no easy task - a huge congratulations to our winners, Denisa Istrate (10J) and Ethan Fadian (8B) who have worked hard to perfect the final design.
Scientists in Congregations and the ECLAS project are funded by a £6.2 million grant from the John Templeton Foundation, running 2023-27. ECLAS is led from St John’s College, Durham University in partnership with the University of York and the Church of England.
