Nicholas Breakspear Catholic School is based in St Albans a historic city in Hertfordshire. It has been providing co-education for the last 53 years to students from St Albans and the surrounding parishes including Potters Bar, Welwyn, Hatfield, Borehamwood and Enfield.
We are a school with a fresh mind-set. We are unashamedly aspirational and ambitious for all. We pledge to work tirelessly to achieve our aim of quality and excellence in all that we do. We have high aspirations for every student and we are very aware that each child has one opportunity to achieve their potential. We take our role in providing the best environment for them to discover who they are and their mission in life very seriously.
Importantly we also want our students to enjoy their education; to be happy, safe and secure and to grow in God's love so that when they leave the school they are equipped to change the world and make it a better place.
We acknowledge the enormous role played by our parents in supporting the school and their children. We are privileged to have such wonderful people working with us. Our partnership with them is undoubtedly our greatest strength and we recognise that everything we do builds on their roles and examples as prime educators of their children.
Our promise is to take each child, nurture and protect that child and allow them to grow into that person God has created them to be; and to instil within them a love of themselves, of God and others.
