Success at Barclays Bank for Douay Martyrs student
Congratulations to Hassan Darr in Year 11 who completed a very successful placement on the Barclays Bank Lifeskills programme.
Working in branch Hassan gained real experience in working for a major bank and undertook a wide range of tasks. He said, "I spent time at the till, dealing with customers first hand, and through this I learned key communication, and people skills. It was imperative that you were polite, and got to the point when the customer asked you a question."
Hassan made such an impression at the bank that he has been told that should he follow studies in the finance sector a Graduate Training Scheme placement would be available to him. Well done Hassan!
