Outstanding Exam Results at St. Marks

This Summer's GCSE and A Level exam results reflect the tremendous
hard work of students, staff and parents.
At A Level St Mark's achieved the best results in the Local Authority
with 31% A*/A grades, 71% A*-B and 95% A*-C. 13 students achieved 3 A*/
A grades. The Daily Telegraph placed St Mark's in the top 100 state
schools above many Grammar schools.
At GCSE 84.4% of students achieved 5+ A*-C grades including English
and Maths, the eighth year in a row that the School has been above
80%. 38 students gained 8+ A*/A grades and 35% of grades were A*/A.
63% of students gained the English Baccalaureate. The Progress 8 score
was an outstanding 0.86 and The Daily Telegraph listed St Mark's as
28th in the table of top Comprehensive Schools in the country for GCSE
results.
