After the Government’s radical shake up to make GCSE’s tougher, students at Nicholas Breakspear Catholic School have again achieved impressive results. It marks another year of academic and personal success for students at the school. 

Declan Linnane, Headteacher, commented, “I would like to congratulate all our students on their excellent GCSE results. We are incredibly proud of our students’ achievements as they have worked extremely hard and these results are a tribute to their commitment, resilience and support for one another.  I would like to thank our members of staff and parents who have guided our students to ensure this success. This collaborative effort between school and home has been a major factor in Nicholas Breakspear Catholic School achieving these results is a fitting end to a great academic year”.

Among the many good results, the following students achieved grades 9’s and 8’s across their subjects:

A humble Fahmida Chowdhury, who achieved the highest grades in the year said “I would like to thank all my teachers for their support in the last five years. “I feel pleased that my consistent hard work has finally paid.  It was all worth it”.

John Doneo who was also one of the top achievers in the year group said “I would like to thank all my teachers for believing in me and giving me the confidence to succeed”.

Emmanuel Lukose who was delighted with his results said “I want to thank my parents and teachers for their support throughout my education.  The hard work and guidance has certainly paid off”.
